We have had Chesapeake Bay Retrievers since 2001. We got our first Chesapeake, Abby in July of 2001.  We had a terrier Jessie at the time, who was 14 and Abby would run circles around her.  Abby needed a playmate, so we got Brutus. We took handling classes and started showing them. Brutus finished his championship in a year. Meanwhile Abby was training for obedience, agility and hunting. The rest is history.  We have owned and trained thru MACH, SH, GCH, and UD levels.
